The World Academy of Nursing Science (WANS) announces the election of its new Chairperson/President in December 2025. The newly elected Chairperson/President officially begins a two‑year term from January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2027.
This leadership transition marks an important milestone for WANS as the organization continues to advance nursing science, foster international collaboration, and support innovation in research, education, and practice. Under the new presidential term, WANS will build on its mission to strengthen global nursing leadership and expand its impact across diverse professional and geographic communities.
WANS extends its appreciation to the outgoing leadership for their dedicated service and welcomes the new President with anticipation for continued growth and strategic advancement during the 2026–2027 term.
